In It for the Long Run
Jayne brings a user experience perspective to brand strategy: an organization’s identity takes shape through every interaction people have with it. As adeo’s Senior Brand Strategist, she connects business goals with the practical questions of what people need, what they expect, and how a brand can earn their confidence.
Her background spans digital strategy, user experience, business leadership, and project delivery. Over more than a decade with teams that evolved through Fresh Tilled Soil, ADK Group, and projekt202/Stellar Elements, she helped grow a design practice into a much larger technology organization. That work included senior project management in user experience and product design, grounding her strategic perspective in the decisions and coordination it takes to bring an idea to life.
Having worked through successive acquisitions, Jayne has also seen how changes in ownership, culture, and capabilities affect the people inside an organization and the clients it serves. Her writing about those transitions returns to a particular interest: whether growth and new technology produce a better experience for the people on the receiving end.
Her career began at WEEI sports radio, and she remains fascinated by the business of athletics, including how changes in college sports influence recruitment, opportunity, and institutional identity. A former college track and cross-country runner, she went on to race trail ultramarathons and won the women’s 50K at the 2016 TARC Spring Classic. She has written about running as a source of perspective through life’s changes. Read her essay, “A Series of Doors.”
The long run is familiar territory.
